Happy tails offers a local, personalised, loving and friendly pet service. Both Sharon and Sarah have many years of experience dealing with animals of all sizes, ages and breeds of dogs, horses and small animal care. We will come to your home and take the time to understand your pets personality, preferences and routines caring for your pets according to their individual needs, this can be from dog walks, pop in service, pet sitting, pet taxi and pets to vets or simply to keep them company. Whether you are working long hours, weekends away and vacations, emergencies or simply having some time out we are here to help.

For piece of mind we are insured, DBS checked and canine first aid.

Before starting to offer you our services we will carry out a free consultation to get a better understanding of your needs, Special instructions and routines, observing your pets behaviour. Any concerns can be answered about our service giving us the opportunity to get to know your pet, yourselves and our process making sure we are the right fit for you and your furry companion.

Dog walks

(inc towel dry and settle. Dogs walked on a lead unless stated, pictures and txt can be sent)

30 minutes from £10.00

60 minutes from £12.00

Occasional dog walk 40 minutes £11.00

Weekends arranged in advance £1.50 extra charge.

£17.00 per hour (3 mile radius to Scarborough)

Emergency pet taxi out of hours (6pm - 8.30am) £27.00 per hour

Dog & House Sitting

(Inc feeding/cleaning of rabbit, guinea pigs, cats/litter trays, watering plants, bin day and collecting post))

Overnight Stays: 3/4pm to 8am - £30.00 (£10.00 per extra dog)

Day Sitting: 8am to 5pm - £40.00

*Additional hours, longer dog walks are charged separately and tailor-made packages dependant on length of stay.

Payment

Full payment secures slot in the diary.

Full payment is required before care, this is non-refundable if cancelled during that week.

Pet Taxi services payment is required on booking.

Bank holidays are charged at double time

Christmas day, Boxing day & New Years day charged at treble time.

Payment is by cash or bankers transfer.

Fuel charged at 40p per mile, chargeable outside of a 3 mile radius of Scarborough town centre.

A 15% deposit is required to secure our petting sitting service.

Cancellation of weekly diary slots, Happy Tails reserves the right to charge a payment of 50% this is a holding fee to keep the clients slot available.
